the beginning

My story might sound familiar.

An ambitious, fiery southern girl moves to New York City after college, lands her first job in a competitive industry, gets pulled into the energizing hustle, finds beautiful, inspiring friends and experiences, climbs the ranks and travels the world. It was everything I had wanted.

But why was I so tired?

I used to wonder about it all the time, but I never moved to action. I believed that exhaustion was a byproduct of a successful life and tried to accept it the best I could.

My life looked full, but inside, I was running on empty.

In this city, we just keep moving:

    to the next big meeting…

    the next heart-pounding workout…

    the next must-try trend…

    the next can’t miss dinner…

Always moving on to the next can be exhilarating, but it sometimes can become impossibly draining.

Enter your 30s, 40s, 50s.

We discover the older we get, the more we must give — to our partners, children, families, causes and careers. Without meaning to, you can lose the thing that matters most. The very spirit you should nourish first. Yourself.

the turning point

Is your body saying “I can’t do this anymore?”

It happened to me. After spending more than a decade as a global fashion executive, I experienced first-hand the toll that our hurried lifestyle plays on our bodies, on our minds, and on our relationships. For me there came a point where my body forced me to face what my mind wanted to ignore. I was exhausted of being exhausted.

I had to refine, reshape, and reimagine my life.

This was when holistic health and wellness grew from just another interest into my lifestyle. And then it became my calling.

a new and better life

We’re all looking for happiness and peace.

We so often look outside of ourselves for these things, but I believe that when we look for clarity within rather than without, confusion starts to exit our lives. This is what worked for me. This is what I want for you.

Where I come in.

I have cultivated my passion for wellness through extensive training and certification in holistic health and nutrition from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, as well as in comprehensive classical Pilates from Core Pilates NYC. I made it, and I have the experience to get you there, too.

Through curated wellness experiences, I will provide professional, supportive guidance on nutrition, private fitness instruction, and researched healthy living recommendations —compiled for you individually. From theory to practice, from dream to reality, a healthier and more balanced life really is attainable. We can do it, and it begins by treating the elements of our lives holistically and as one. By resisting the urge to separate our bodies, minds, and habits, we can begin to feel whole again.
